Former Washington Redskins and now Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Josh Doctson is aiming for a Week 10 return, or arrival, to his new team, per   of NBC Sports. Although not yet playing a game for the Vikings, adding Doctson to their already impressive receiving corps might assist quarterback Kirk Cousins in getting the aerial attack going.

Cousins has struggled early, while making some head-scratching throws in traffic in situations where the game is on the line. With Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs being two of the leagues most athletic and capable wide receivers, adding Doctson in the slot or out wide can only help Cousins as he looks for his first game of the season with more than 230 yards passing.

Going on injured reserve in early September with a hamstring injury, Doctson looks for a new start with Minnesota. He has shown what he can do while on the Redskins as he averaged 12.1 yards per catch last season and 14.3 in 2017 when he had Cousins throwing him the ball.

The Vikings are set to face off against the rolling Dallas Cowboys in Week 10 when Doctson is set to return. With a tough matchup the week before in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs, it will be their toughest stretch of the season.

If Doctson is able to provide an impact for the Vikings when he does return, it will only be gravy hoping that the Vikings and Cousins will have already found their groove.
