The Minnesota Vikings posted an impressive 19-13 win over the Chicago Bears on Monday night, and it was thanks in large part to another brilliant effort from rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson. The 21-year-old made a bit of history on Monday, matching a record previously set the great Randy Moss.

Jefferson logged his fourth consecutive 100-yard receiving game against the Bears, and according to ESPN Stats & Info, the only other player to have achieved a similar feat for the Vikings was Moss:

This is quite an impressive achievement for the former LSU standout, who is now well on his way to making NFL history as a rookie. It is worth noting that the current record for most consecutive 100 receiving yards is seven games, which was previously set by Odell Beckham in 2014. At this point, Jefferson is just three games away from trying the all-time record. Based on what we have seen from his thus far, this does not appear to be beyond him.

On Monday, Jefferson caught 8-of-10 targets for a 135-yard gain, as he helped Minnesota to what turned out to be their third consecutive win. Adam Thielen scored on two touchdowns for the Vikings, but it was actually Jefferson who once again led the team in targets.

Jefferson and the Vikings will be back in action on Sunday as they face off against the Dallas Cowboys. The young WR will be looking to keep his record going against Dallas, and if all goes according to plan, he should be in line for a historic debut campaign.
