Minnesota Vikings rookie Justin Jefferson was caught in a bit of an awkward moment on Sunday during what turned out to be a 33-27 loss at the hands of the Chicago Bears. The Minnesota wide receiver was mic'd up throughout the contest, and at one point, he seemed to have uttered some expletives towards the direction of teammate Kirk Cousins.

Jefferson himself took to Twitter to speak out about his in-game NSFW tirade aimed at his quarterback, and as it seems, the 21-year-old regrets nothing (h/t Charles Curtis of USA TODAY SPORTS):

For the record, here is the aforementioned incident in which Jefferson may have forgotten he was mic'd up (warning: NSFW):

For what it's worth, Jefferson and Cousins have had quite a connection this season. The rookie has been one of Cousins' favorite targets, and for the most part, it has worked relatively well for the Vikings.

On Sunday, Jefferson caught 8-of-11 passes for 104 yards in what was another impressive showing for the former LSU standout. Jefferson has been so good this season that he's in the running for this year's Offensive Rookie of the Year. He would be a frontrunner too had it not been for a dude named Justin Herbert.

Be that as it may, Jefferson may want to work on his PR skills. It's not a very good look for any rookie to call out a tested veteran quarterback — even more so your own teammate.

Then again, we're pretty sure Cousins won't think too much of this, so in the end, all is well that ends well. I guess.
