The Minnesota Vikings have reportedly been open for business on trading veteran tight end Kyle Rudolph this season.

During a recent interview with Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Rudolph addressed those trade rumors:

“I joked around a couple times this week that I feel like I’ve been on the trade block for the last three years and I’m still here in Minnesota,” Rudolph said on PFT PM. “I love it here. I hope to finish my career here. But as you know when you’re around this business long enough, it is a business and people have to make decisions. I can’t control that. All that I can control is going out to practice and doing everything I can to prepare myself to play well against the Green Bay Packers.”

The Vikings have gotten off to a disappointing start this season, going 1-5 in the past six games. Kyle Rudolph, who has been with Minnesota since the team drafted him in 2011, hasn't played well this season either.

The 30-year-old tight end has only caught 10 passes for 123 yards and one touchdown in six games. With that being said, it's no surprise the Vikings would trade him at this point in the season. After all, there were rumors circulating that the Vikings were trying to trade him last season too.

Nevertheless, even with all the trade rumors, Rudolph is clearly not bothered by them. As he mentioned in his interview, the NFL is a business and he can't control what team he plays on.
