Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph had a great reaction to catching the game-winning touchdown in overtime to defeat the New Orleans Saints on the road in the NFC's Wild Card Round, bringing up his history playing basketball as a factor on the fade route:

Rudolph extended himself in the corner of the end zone on Minnesota's game-winning drive after regulation to corral a pass from quarterback Kirk Cousins, winning the game for the Vikings, 26-20. The play has already been immediately disputed by the Saints and their fans, calling it offensive pass interference on the tight end's part as he pushed off his defender to create separation to catch the throw from Cousins.

The play at the goal line was set up by a magnificent 43-yard bomb from Cousins to wide receiver Adam Thielen, who caught the deep ball in stride in Saints territory as the Vikings had possession to start overtime. A few plays later the Vikings won on the Cousins pass to Rudolph, who is claiming playing basketball in his free time helped him prepare in hauling in the end zone toss.

This is the second time in two days the sixth seed in the NFL's postseason defeated the conference's third seed, with the Tennessee Titans taking down the New England Patriots on Saturday in an upset win for former Patriots linebacker turned Titans head coach Matt Vrabel and his squad.

The Vikings will now take on the No. 1 seed in the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers, next weekend.
