Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy has made it clear he isn't sure if Aaron Rodgers will be playing this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings but Mike Zimmer isn't buying it because the Packers quarterback, “walks on water.”

Rodgers suffered a knee injury in week one and although he came back in the second half and led the Packers to a victory against the Chicago Bears he is still questionable for this game. There was adrenaline working for him in the second half, along with a few painkillers probably which helped him get through the game. Rodgers will work in the rehab group during Wednesday's practice which means DeShone Kizer will get the first team reps. Just because Rodgers is in the rehab group that doesn't mean it's a setback.

“It’s not a setback,” McCarthy said, via Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. “This is how it goes during the season. You have players in different categories.”

Rodgers said he is taking it one day at a time but said earlier this week that he would be ready to go against the Vikings and he will be playing. The Packers will have practice again Thursday and Friday before they will submit their final injury report leading into Sunday's game.

Unless Rodgers is listed as out on that final injury report, it would seem shocking if Rodgers didn't play against the Vikings. This will be his first game against the Vikings since Anthony Barr broke his collarbone and knocked him out of last season.
