The Minnesota Vikings might have themselves a bit of an issue on their hands with the offensive line. Center Pat Elflein and right guard Mike Remmers are dealing with injuries although expectations are that they will be back for the regular season. Nick Easton went to get a second opinion on his neck earlier this week, and it turns out he needs surgery on a bulging disk and will be placed on the injured reserve.

It has left the offensive line shorthanded and the Vikings evaluating all options on what they will do to get the line some depth. Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has made it clear that he isn't worried, at least on the surface and that the team will figure out a way to get it done.

“We’re going to figure out a way to get it done, so: Calm. Tweet that,” Zimmer said, via Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “That’s my new saying. We’re going to get a bunch of Mike Zimmer Foundation T-shirts that say, ‘Tweet that.'”

Zimmer seems to have his new favorite saying with “Tweet that.” Earlier in the week when asked about Richie Incognito interest he denied those rumors and told the media to “Tweet that.”

The team has a bit of time to try and figure out what they want to do with the offensive line with their first preseason on Saturday. The team will probably have a better understanding of what needs to be done after the first preseason game is complete.
