Minnesota Vikings fans showed up in full force at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sunday when their favorite team played the Los Angeles Chargers. The Vikings' team website estimated that 80-90 percent of the fans in the crowd were Vikings fans.

When the Chargers ran onto the field, there was a loud chorus of boos that rang out. When the Vikings were on defense it felt like a home game, and a few times throughout the game, the team's signature Skol chant was performed.

“Pregame, it felt like we were at home – in a different environment, obviously, but it was a home-type of feeling. It’s always been great to see our fans on the road this year – it’s been better than I’ve ever seen it as a Viking,” wide receiver Adam Thielen said.

Anthony Harris said he didn't realize that US Bank Stadium was being moved out to the West coast.

“We joked afterward and said, ‘It looks like somebody decided to move U.S. Bank to the West Coast.’ We were excited for that, but we knew we had to come out and play.”

This has been a common occurrence for home Chargers games this year. The Chargers will move into their shared stadium next year with the Los Angles Rams next year and there is some concern about how fans will turn out there. With more seats being able to be bought the next time the Vikings play in Los Angeles maybe there will be 50,000 Vikings fans in attendance.
