Retired NFL wide receiver Percy Harvin wants to return to the game of football after quitting following the 2016 season with the Buffalo Bills. The former Minnesota Vikings wideout boasted about the shape his body is in last month and is looking for another shot in the league.

Will Harvin reunite with the Vikings? Minnesota general manager Rick Spielman doesn't think so.

“We have no intent to sign Percy Harvin” Spielman said on PFT PM, via Vikings Wire.

Harvin, 21, spent the first four seasons of his professional career in Minnesota after the NFC North franchise selected the University of Florida product with the 22nd overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Harvin won the league's Offensive Rookie of the Year distinction when he recorded 790 receiving yards on 60 catches for six touchdowns in his debut season. But the Vikings traded the standout receiver to the Seattle Seahawks before the 2013 season—where Harvin won a Super Bowl alongside star quarterback Russell Wilson.

Harvin briefly played for the New York Jets after getting traded to the East Coast in Oct. 2014 and signed with the Bills. He tallied 21 catches for 224 receiving yards in seven games with Buffalo in 2015-16.

After that, Harvin retired but apparently kept football close to his heart as he recently declared an intention to return to the sport. Don't expect him in a Vikings uniform, however, although Minnesota traded wideout Stefon Diggs to the Bills two months ago.
