There has been plenty of speculation regarding the future of Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs. It appears the prospect of him being placed on the market has already drawn in some interest from another team.

According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, the Vikings have already been contacted about a potential trade:

A team that told me today they’d definitely be interested in Stefon Diggs said they were informed the Vikings WR would not be traded.

Although Diggs has clearly garnered some interest from a team in desperate need of a wide receiver., it appears Minnesota is hesitant to pull the trigger on negotiating a deal. The team may be doing what it can to dispel any trade rumors, however, his comments have only served to add further fuel to the fire.

It is no secret that the Vikings have endured their fair share of struggles in the 2019 NFL season, especially on the offensive side of the ball. As a result, Diggs is not the only one that has been shy about expressing his honest opinion recently. Wide receiver Adam Thielen also called out quarterback Kirk Cousins for his lackluster player against the Chicago Bears.

It is safe to say that the situation in Minnesota has started to take a tumultuous turn early on. Diggs' comments indicate that he is open to being dealt in the near future. It will be interesting to see if the Vikings are able to do some damage control this week or be spurred to get what they can in a trade.
