Sheldon Richardson is on the move once again. The former Pro Bowl standout with the New York Jets has bounced around quite a bit since his time in Jets green and white and has now ditched the Cleveland Browns to sign a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings, returning to the team that employed him in the 2018 season.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Vikings used the room from Danielle Hunter's contract adjustment to make room for Richardson.

Richardson spent the past two seasons with the Browns and played in every single game during that stretch. Throughout his career he has been extremely reliable, playing in 15 or more games every year except for one.

Now he is back with the Vikings and they are hoping the addition of Richardson can fortify the defensive group enough to make another run in the NFC playoff picture.

Richardson made it clear that he wanted to move on from Cleveland in hopes of a fresh start, and the Vikings are giving him that and more with a return to the NFC North.

With the offense already at an elite level with Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson, the defense is very capable of holding down the fort as they aim to return to the playoffs.
