It’s a bitter loss for the Minnesota Vikings as they weren’t able to stop the Seattle Seahawks during their second half comeback to emerge as 37-30 losers. To make things worse for the Vikings, wide receiver Stefon Diggs got injured during the Vikings’ fumble in the third quarter.
His injury wasn’t the exact thing that cost Minnesota the game as he was able to return to the game. However, his return wasn’t able to stop the inevitable.
If there was any positive that can be taken from this is the fact that Diggs told NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero he’s sure to return to the Vikings’ lineup for their Week 14 clash against the Detroit Lions.
Stefon Diggs says he just got rolled up on. “I’m fine.”

Diggs’ numbers don’t pop out of the stat sheet as the Vikings balanced out their throws to multiple players. He finished the game with four receptions, 25 yards, and 6.5 yards per catch. His single run, the jet sweep, went for a superb 27 yards and placed the Vikings within one yard of the end zone.

The 26-year-old’s health is great news for Vikings fans as he’s a key player in their offensive schemes. He’s playing great this year, notching a total of 880 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 11 starts for the Vikings. His jet sweep is increasingly becoming an effective weapon that should make opposing defenses wary for games to come.
The Vikings still have a good grip on the second Wild Card spot thanks to their four-game winning streak from Week Five to Week Eight. Their final games of the season are against the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Chargers, and Green Bay Packers. Diggs and the rest of the offense must step up during these remaining games if they don’t want to lose their ticket to the playoffs.
