Prior to this past weekend's win over the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs did not appear to be a happy camper.

He was an unexcused absence from practice last Wednesday, and after not talking to the media for a couple of weeks with trade rumors swirling, he then revealed that there was some truth to the rumors.

But now, Diggs is saying he was never unhappy in Minnesota.

“I never said I was unhappy or uncomfortable with my role,” Diggs said, according Chris Tomasson of The St. Paul Pioneer Press. “I said I wanted to win, that was what my frustrations were and that’s where it kind of got misconstrued last week.”

Diggs logged three catches for 44 yards during the Vikings' 28-10 victory over the Giants this past Sunday. On the season overall, he has caught just 16 passes for 253 yards and a touchdown, with 10 of those catches coming over the past two weeks.

Due to Diggs' lack of production, the wide out did not seem to too thrilled with his lack of touches, joining fellow receiver Adam Thielen in having displeasure for the state of Minnesota's aerial attack.

Diggs, who played his collegiate football at the University of Maryland, was originally selected by the Vikings in the fifth round (146th pick overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Since then, he has been one of the most consistent players on Minnesota's offense, and in 2018, he hauled in 102 receptions for 1,021 yards and nine scores, all career highs.

The Vikings are 3-2 and will take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
