The Minnesota Vikings are gearing up for a primetime matchup against the New England Patriots on Sunday with plenty of playoff implications on the line.

Heading into the game, the Vikings have some notable question marks around a couple of their key players. Star wide receiver Stefon Diggs and Pro Bowl cornerback Xavier Rhodes are both questionable for the contest, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Receiver Stefon Diggs (knee) and cornerback Xavier Rhodes (hamstring) are both questionable for the Week 13 game against the Patriots.

Diggs' injury flared up during last Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, and it has lingered over the last few days. He has been hampered by injuries over the last few weeks, even missing a game. However, Diggs has been able to play in the last two contests for the Vikings, putting up strong outings by totaling 21 catches for 203 receiving yards and two touchdowns, including 13 catches for 126 receiving yards and a touchdown against the Chicago Bears.

When Diggs has taken the field, his ability it perform hasn't been hampered by the injuries. He is putting together yet another impressive campaign, currently on pace for his first career 1,000 receiving yard campaign as he has 79 receptions for 790 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Diggs has highly dependable in the passing game, as he has double-digit receptions four times this year along with four 100-receiving yard performances.

Meanwhile, Rhodes' path back to the football field has been much more difficult as he deals with a hamstring injury. He suffered the ailment against the Packers, which makes him the more likely of the two to miss this week's game. Ultimately, there should be more clarity on this front over the next two days.
