Teams are calling the Minnesota Vikings and are inquiring about trading for cornerbacks Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes, according to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated.

Rhodes played in 14 games this past season, registering 47 tackles, an interception, and seven passes defended.

The 28-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Florida State University, was originally selected by the Vikings in the first round (25th pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.

He appeared in 13 contests during his rookie campaign, finishing with 48 tackles, a forced fumble, and 10 passes defended. The following year, Rhodes became a full-time starter, posting 48 tackles, a pick, and 18 passes defended.

By his fourth season, Rhodes was a Pro Bowler after totaling 52 tackles, five interceptions, a forced fumble, 11 passes defended, and a defensive touchdown, and the next year, Rhodes made another trip to Honolulu and earned First-Team All-Pro honors after racking up 56 tackles, a couple of picks, and 10 passes defended.

Waynes participated in 14 games in 2018, recording 44 tackles, an interception, and eight passes defended.

The 26-year-old attended Michigan State University and was originally chosen by Minnesota with the 11th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.

He played in 15 contests during his rookie year, registering 22 tackles. He then tallied 47 tackles, three interceptions, and 11 passes defended in his sophomore season before finally becoming a full-time starter in 2017, logging 65 stops, a sack, two picks, and 11 passes defended.

The Vikings are coming off of a season in which they went 8-7-1 and missed the playoffs, one year after winning 13 games and making it all the way to the NFC Championship Game.
