After an absolutely sensational rookie season as a member of the Minnesota Vikings, soon-to-be second-year NFL wide receiver Justin Jefferson has quickly become one of the more pleasant surprises from around the league as of late. However, Jefferson's prowess as a true entertainer is not limited only to catching long touchdown passes from Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins as it also apparently extends into the video game landscape as well.

It was formally announced on Monday evening that Jefferson has become the first NFL player to be featured in the famed video game ‘Fortnite.' Thanks to his infamous “Griddy” touchdown celebration and corresponding dance, Jefferson was quick to react to such news on Twitter.

The 21-year-old pass-catcher was originally selected by the Vikings with the No. 22 overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of LSU. A standout for the Tigers and a member of the program's 2019-20 national championship team, Jefferson wasted absolutely no time bursting onto the scene atop the highest level en route to not only serving as one of the best rookies but also one of the best wideouts in the entire league in 2020-21.

Over the course of all 16 regular-season games as a rookie this past season, Jefferson tallied 88 receptions, 125 targets, an even 1,400 yards, and seven touchdowns. It is also worth noting that the up-and-coming pass-catcher averaged just under 16 yards per catch in his first NFL season as well.

With the Vikings selecting Justin Jefferson early on in order to fill the shoes of current Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs, the former LSU standout did that and then some in 2020-21.
