Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen has become just the third player in franchise history to rack up more than 100 receptions in a season.

Thielen hasn't had his best performance in Monday night's game against the Seattle Seahawks, but he joined elite company when he picked up his third reception of the contest.

From the official NFL Research department:

Adam Thielen has surpassed 100 receptions on the season

Thielen is just the 3rd player in Vikings franchise history to post 100+ receptions in a single season

He joins Hall of Famers Cris Carter and Randy Moss, who each accomplished the feat twice

It's certainly been an awesome season for the fifth-year pro, as he entered the game with 1,166 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on the year. That comes after a breakthrough a season in 2017, where he secured 91 receptions on 143 targets for 1,276 yards and four touchdowns.

His performance this year has helped the Vikings put together a solid season that should keep them in the playoff race down the stretch, even with the ugly loss against the Seahawks in primetime.

But overall, there are still some obvious concerns with the Minnesota passing attack, and those issues were on full display in the game against Seattle.

Head coach Mike Zimmer will hope to see his team get those problems figured out in the final three games of the regular season, which will all be very important when it comes to the team's postseason chances.

The Vikings will host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday before preparing for matchups against the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.
