Despite already being 40-years-old, Vince Carter proved this past season that he can still play at the highest level and be a solid contributor to the Memphis Grizzlies. He appeared in 73 regular season and six playoff games for his team, and averaged 8.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 24.6 minutes per game.

Should he still play next season, it would be the 20th of his career, but one thing that has continued to elude him is winning a title. However, things might change as he recently admitted that he is open to taking less money to join the recently crowned champions, the Golden State Warriors.

Carter made it clear though that he wants to contribute and have a role similar to what David West had this past season. He may not be the same player that he was during the early days of his career, but he can still shoot efficiently and also attack the basket when needed. More importantly, he can serve as another veteran leader for the Dubs, who will do their best to become back-to-back champions.

It remains to be seen which team Carter will end up with next season. It will also not be surprising if he still generates a decent amount of interest from other teams as well, as Vinsanity is continuing to prove that age is just a number — especially for those that are half-man half-amazing.
