It's official – Vince Carter has played his last game in the NBA. In turn, we're about to gander at Vince Carter's best dunks ever, ranked from seven to one for your pleasure.

With the pandemic ending the season prematurely for the bottom eight NBA teams, including the Atlanta Hawks, that means Carter won't be returning to the court anymore this season.

Vinsanity ends an iconic 22-year career with an equally long highlight reel.

Vince Carter was a great player, no doubt about that. But he was at this best when he was soaring in the air getting ready for a thunderous slam.

With that, let's look back at his greatest dunks ever:

#7 – Vince Carter's First 360

You'll never forget your first.

In a normal game against the Cavs, Vince showed he's anything but normal. He made sure to do something special on the break away. This 360 spin and slam with the the statue-of-liberty finish was his first ever during a real game with many, many more to come.

#6 – Carter hams it on Dikembe Mutumbo

Dikembe Mutombo is the 2nd all-time for blocks in NBA history.

He wasn't getting this one.

VC climbed Mt. Mutombo with ease and just elevated right over him for the nasty stuff. Vince clearly loves dunking on 7-footers based on the rest of this list.

#5 – Reverse oop off a Jason Kidd dish

J-Kidd and Vince hooked up for some killer alley-oops during their time in New Jersey.

But none were better than this reverse oop against the Magic. Carter had the open lane and the angle for the finish, but decided that he needed to add a double-pump on that espresso to give it a little something more.

#4 – Carter's All-Star self-oop

Carter didn't need any help on this one.

The man was built for the All-Star game, and he showed it here. He threw it to himself and cocked it back so far he might have thought he was in the dunk contest and not the All-Star game.

That's a 50 in our book, Vince.

#3 – VC puts ‘Zo on a poster

Vince seems to have a grudge against all-time shot blockers.

Carter had his blinders on when he drove towards the rim on this one. There was only one thing on his mind, and that was to posterize a two time Defensive Player of the Year. Mourning was in perfect position to contest the dunk, but Carter's momentum carried him over ‘Zo for the vicious throwdown.

#2 – Vince Carter jumps OVER Frederic Weiss

It's the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and Vince Carter was ready to catch a body.

He definitely chose a pretty big one in 7-foot tall Frenchman Frederic Weiss. Coming off a miss from the USA side, Carter's teammates were already running back on defense. But Vince stole the outlet pass and just rose straight up over Weiss' head for the one-handed flush.

Congrats to Freddy Weiss for being put on the poster to end all posters.

#1 – Vince brings the dunk contest back to life

The dunk contest was all but dead before Vince Carter's 2000 masterpiece.

The All-Star weekend was cancelled in '99 because of the lockout shortened season. The year before that, they replaced the contest all together and had a 2-ball competition instead. Then Vince Carter came along and showed everyone why he's merely half man, and equal parts amazing.

He had his honey-dip dunk where he reached his elbow in hoop. There was his between the legs off-the-bounce jam that would have been the highlight of any other contest. But his first dunk was easily his best. He pulled off his iconic 360 dunk done so gracefully that he almost made it look easy.

And those were Vince Carter's best dunkers ever.
