The Golden State Warriors followed the signing of one Duck with another, inking Oregon forward Chris Boucher to a two-way contract (per Shams Charania of The Vertical) a couple of hours after spending $3.5 million to buy the Chicago Bulls‘ 38th overall pick, Jordan Bell.

A two-way contract allows Boucher to spend time in the newly established G-League and get paid accordingly depending on if he's playing games there or in The Association.

Boucher tore his ACL during the Pac-12 tournament last season and wasn't picked during Thursday's NBA Draft. With not much cap space to sign players, the Warriors will try and make the most of the young talent available in the draft and put it to work during the season.

As a senior, the 6-foot-10, 200-pound forward was a shot-blocking machine, turning away 2.5 shots per game in 2016-17 and 2.9 during his junior year.

Boucher averaged 11.8 points and 6.1 rebounds while blocking 79 shots as a senior. As a junior, he set a single-season school record with 110 total blocks.

The 24-year-old told The Oregonian that he was hopeful to begin basketball activities by October.
