Everyone is aware of the one thing that can derail the Golden State Warriors this season: injuries. The Warriors are loaded with talent in the starting lineup and proven winners off the bench, guys like Andre Iguodala. The former NBA Finals MVP is getting out of the gates slowly and will miss the team's Friday night game against the Jazz in Utah with left calf tightness, per Warriors PR.

Iguodala has been with Golden State since the early days of the dynasty. He joined the Warriors the year before this roster won its first title and has always been a necessary piece of the puzzle. His length and defensive versatility are invaluable off the bench and are part of the reason why the Warriors can play small lineups with such great success.

Iguodala battled through injuries in the playoffs last season. He's 35 and entering the latter stages of his incredible career. When DeMarcus Cousins returns from his Achilles injury, Iguodala may see his role diminish. He will still be one of the most important guys off the bench, but when you have five All-Stars on the roster, those are the guys you want on the floor in crunch time.

There's no reason for Warriors fans to worry about injuries right now. As long as Steve Kerr takes his squad into the playoffs at full strength, that's all that matters. The regular season is merely an appetizer for the main course, which is the postseason. Golden State has its sights set on the first three-peat since the Shaq and Kobe Lakers completed the feat in the early 2000s.
