Given all the controversial and even absurd comments LaVar Ball has made over the past months, it doesn’t come as a shock that he and his family have been the subject of a lot of troll and hate messages, especially on social media. A lot of tirades have been directed at their excessive display of appreciation for one another, including the time when LaMelo Ball received a Lamborghini for his 16th birthday.
Although the criticisms have outnumbered the praises the Ball family has been getting, someone surprisingly defended the younger Ball. However, it’s not just any ordinary person, as he is no other than Golden State Warriors star forward Kevin Durant, who took to his Twitter account to chime in on LaMelo’s birthday present.

It may still be unclear if Durant is a fan of the Ball family or not, but with his latest comments, it’s certain that he does not mind them getting a lot of attention, and is also not bothered by their quick rise to fame.
