Kevin Durant was rather nonchalant after teammate Klay Thompson tied a few NBA records with a scorching 44-point performance against the Los Angeles Lakers, only waiting for the next display of fireworks to come along. The Golden State Warriors sharpshooter shot a blistering 10-of-11 from beyond the arc after catching fire in the third quarter, finishing the game 17-of-20 from the field in an elite display of long-range marksmanship.

“Anything Steph, Klay, Draymond, Cuz do at this point, it’s just kind of expected,” said Durant, according to Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints. “When he has a big game, it’s just like, ‘Alright, let’s move onto the next one.’ I’m sure he’ll have another big game real soon.”

Needless to say, Durant is no longer impressed.

While he wasn't there to witness Klay's 37 points in a quarter, KD has seen Thompson go for plenty of accolades in his two and a half seasons with Golden State. This season only, Durant has seen his teammate busting out of an early-season slump to drill an NBA-record 14 3-pointers against the Chicago Bulls and now also a remarkable shooting clinic at Staples Center against the Los Angeles Lakers, even enticing the oohs and aahs from the crowd.

Thompson surely seems to be fine-tuning into his old self, now shooting a strong 46.4 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from downtown after struggling to find his comfort zone for the better part of the regular season.
