SAN FRANCISCO — If you ever wondered what it would be like to play with the stars of the Golden State Warriors, this article is for you. After Thursday’s shootaround, Otto Porter Jr. spoke with the media about learning to play alongside superstars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

“With Klay back, I’m still learning how to play with him,” Porter Jr. told ClutchPoints. “You can see how they move together and they move well without the ball. So on one side Klay is coming off and on the other side Steph is, and it’s like which guy is more open? But it’s pretty amazing to see those guys moving and playing with each other and off each other.”

This is Porter Jr’s first season with the Dubs, but you wouldn’t be able to notice that by watching him play this year. Since day one the sharpshooter has fit in with Curry and the Dubs perfectly, quickly earning the trust of Steve Kerr for a full-time spot in Golden STate’s rotation.

A part of Porter Jr.’s game is his ability to shoot the ball consistently. The nine-year veteran has a career average of 40.2 percent from deep. This season he’s shooting slightly above that mark. Otto is really automatic when it comes to shooting, and that’s been a major reason why he fits with the Warriors so well.

The intelligent all-purpose veteran has figured out how to play with Curry, and it’s only a matter of time before he does the same with Thompson.
