Klay Thompson traveled with the Golden State Warriors and participated in practice while away. That gives the impression that his return date is very soon, and it could be as early as this week. The team hasn't been clear on when it will be, but teammates and Thompson himself said it's coming soon.

After defeating the Utah Jazz, Andre Iguodala talked about his excitement for Thompson's return in his postgame interview.

“I've told myself not to have too much anticipation because everyone was reporting different things. You don't know the toll it takes on a person trying to get back … I think he's done an incredible job with understanding the process of getting back. He's been doing a hell of a job,” Iguodala told ClutchPoints.

Anyone who's a Dubs fan is excited about seeing Thompson return to the court. That has been the most significant talk around the team. Igoudala feels it's important not to add any more pressure as he gets ready, so he keeps his interaction with Thompson about the present and tries to ignore the near future.

Thompson hasn't played since the 2019 NBA Finals loss against the Toronto Raptors, a series most believe the Warriors would have won another NBA title if health wasn't an issue. Over two years later, another championship opportunity is nearing, especially with Thompson coming back.

The Warriors' focus is on ending this season with a championship, and everyone knows how important Thompson will be in trying to achieve that goal. They believe they're the best team in the NBA but still want to be better. Being fully healthy is going to be a massive help.
