Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala is listed as questionable for tonight's game against the Utah Jazz despite feeling “pretty good” after participating in morning shootaround, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Iguodala is experiencing left calf soreness, which limited him to only 10 minutes in the season-opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder, tallying only two points, two rebounds and two assists during his short outing.

This comes as a mild concern for Iguodala, given his injury woes from the last postseason run and the impending ones given his 34-year-old body.

Head coach Steve Kerr knows this will be an early-season challenge, playing on the road against a Jazz team that exposed them last season, grabbing 30 and 40-point wins over the defending champs in 2017-18. Kerr issued a challenge for his player with his usual sarcasm.

“I hope we can cut it to 20 (tonight),” he said. “The only thing I've thought about is (now-assistant) Chris DeMarco dunking here last year, which was one of the highlights of our season and then we went out and lost by 40. So the dunk didn't motivate us enough.”

“This year is a totally different year, last year was last year. The first 20 games are kind of establishing our identity, different second unit, different combinations. Trying to find our groove, find our rhythm. So to try to do it on the road against Utah, it's a good test.”

Iguodala's health will be something to monitor all season long, but should he play today, expect his minutes to remain in the low 20s as the Warriors play it out cautiously early on.
