All-time rankings in the NBA is a petri dish for heated arguments. Even NBA players themselves get into debates over their own views, and this one between Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala and free agent guard Brandon Jennings isn’t any different.

Okay, it’s not really that much a debate since there was no volley of points being exchanged there, but you get the idea.

Iggy simply could not wrap his head around how Jennings ignored Jerry West on his own list. Again, it’s Jennings’ list, so regardless of Iguodala’s vehement protestation, Jennings has no urgent need to modify his rankings just to satisfy his obviously bewildered fellow NBA veteran.

Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant are locked on that top five list; so does Dwyane Wade. But there could be cases made against Allen Iverson and Manu Ginobili depending on how one view these two players.

To be fair to Iguodala, Jerry West was truly one of the deadliest shooters to ever play the game. The Logo played in 932 NBA games and over that span, averaged 27.0 points on 47.4 percent shooting from the field.

Andre Iguodala might also be a little biased since West played a big role in helping build the unstoppable basketball machine that is Golden State while serving as a team executive from 2011 to 2017.
