Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is a nice guy. This is a known fact. This doesn't mean, however, that the former back-to-back MVP isn't capable of unleashing the most savage of trash talk against his opponents.

Former Warriors forward Andre Iguodala recently guested on JJ Redick's The Old Man & The Three podcast, and Iggy shared his most unforgettable Stephen Curry trash-talking encounter. As it turns out, Steph needed just two words to silence an entire Denver Nuggets bench:

“He lets the ball go and turns around and tells them to shut up,” Iguodala said, via Taylor Wirth of NBC Sports. “The ball is in, like, midair, it's not even close to the rim, and the whole team went like [quiet]. This is the opposing team, like, ‘Yo, I've never seen that before during a game.”

This was actually one of the first times Curry busted out the no-look 3-pointer for the Warriors. Here's a look at that epic moment:

“Shut up.” These two words were all Steph needed to destroy an entire bench. They were barking at him right before he took the shot, but as soon as he let the ball go, the Warriors superstar knew that it was good. He definitely let his opponents know what was up. Amazingly, Curry didn't even have to see the ball go in. He actually started running back on defense even before the trey was official.

This gave birth to Curry's trademark no-look 3. The story behind it is pretty epic, right?
