Golden State Warriors veterans Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston are expected to sit out Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

According to head coach Steve Kerr, Andre Iguodala would have played if it was a playoff game, but since it's just a regular season game and with the Dubs sitting comfortably on top of the Western Conference, the team decided to allow him to rest rather than risk re-aggravating his injury.

Shaun Livingston suffered a knee injury in the Warriors' win last Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He played seven minutes in that game before the team chose to sit him out for the remainder of it.

Pretty much like Iguodala, the team wants to make sure that Livingston is ready for the postseason and would rather have him rest. The veteran guard has been hampered by knee injuries throughout the course of his career, but he has played a key role for the Dubs in their last three championships.

Aside from Iguodala and Livingston, everyone is expected to play for the Warriors.

The Clippers are also dealing with injuries of their own. Forward Danilo Gallinari won't be playing against Golden State, while guard Patrick Beverley is a game-time decision.

A first round matchup between the Warriors and the Clippers could happen especially if the latter ends up losing their remaining games.
