When asked about what his favorite memory is in the Oracle Arena, Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala took a potshot at the ticket prices.

Per John Schuhmann of nba.com, the first playoff series was fun because they hadn't ‘priced out' the fans yet.

Perhaps Iguodala was referring to the 2013-2014 season. This was the season he was traded to the Warriors from the Denver Nuggets. This was when Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green were just on the verge of unleashing their full potential. They tallied a 51-win season but lost in seven games to the LA Clippers.

Back then, the Warriors were simply tagged as a playoff contender. But the following season, after adding new pieces to the team including head coach Steve Kerr, the rest was history as they say. For the last five years, they're the most exciting and dominant team in the entire NBA.

Given their rapid improvement to contenders to champions, there was, understandably, a rise in ticket prices in Oracle Arena. Peep the photo below from Warriors Wire to see the rise of Warriors ticket prices over the years.

Winning does increase the market value of a team. Besides, the Bay is home to tech investors particularly those in Silicon Valley. They can afford the tickets no matter how much they cost. But from Iguodala's comments, he seems uneasy about the exclusivity of the tickets.
