Golden State Warriors swingman Andre Iguodala has an interesting relationship with the media. There are some stories out there of him trolling reporters, and some of them are quite humorous.

There may have been another example of that on Wednesday, just hours before the start of Game 3 between the Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. While walking off the court during morning shootaround, the Warriors veteran provided an update of sorts on his status for Game 3, per Mark Medina of the San Jose Mercury News.

As stated before, Iguodala likes to play with the media's head. It's likely that the Warriors veteran does not actually feel “terrible.” While it's difficult to gauge exactly how good he feels, it is safe to say he is feeling better.

The bigger takeaway here is that Iguodala said he did not know if he will play in Game 3. He has now been out a couple of weeks with that leg injury, but has reportedly gotten closer and closer to returning to game action.

In fact, Steve Kerr said Wednesday that there was a good chance Iguodala will play in Game 3, per Medina.

It goes without saying that the Warriors need Iguodala to play and play well for them in the Finals. They may be up 2-0, but the series is going to Cleveland for the next two games, and it's important to have as many veterans in the fold to play a good team on the road.

So far, it looks more likely than not that Iguodala will play, jokes or no jokes.
