Andrew Bogut is questionable for Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with groin soreness, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic. Besides the big man, the Golden State Warriors should have everyone else healthy and available, hoping to pull away from the second-place Denver Nuggets after their loss to the Houston Rockets on Thursday,

Bogut has been a nice acquisition for the Warriors since signing with the organization earlier this month, mostly playing spot minutes under Kevon Looney or as a backup starter when DeMarcus Cousins is out of the starting five due to rest or injury management.

In five games since first joining the team in San Antonio, the Aussie big man is averaging 4.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists through five games — fitting effortlessly due to his ability to set monster screens and find the open man around the perimeter.

Bogut will see some minutes in the playoffs, but it will be largely tied to specific matchups and foul accumulation by Cousins and Looney, providing a much-needed blanket of comfort for Golden State if either of the aforementioned two is in danger of battling foul trouble.

The Warriors won't have an efficient scorer, but they will gain a deft passer and lose nothing at the defensive end of the ball, as long as the 7-footer is patrolling the paint as usual.
