Andrew Wiggins has been coming into his own with the Golden State Warriors this season, which has prompted some to speak about his future with the franchise. Following Golden State's 22-point victory over Wiggins' former team, the Minnesota Timberwolves, he responded to a question about spending the rest of his career with the Warriors.

Wiggins gave a simple response:

Andrew Wiggins was acquired by the Warriors last season in exchange for D'Angelo Russell. Many have questioned the trade due to Russell's offensive ability, but Wiggins is quieting his critics this season in his first full year in Golden State.

Through the first 17 games of the season, Wiggins is having a career year in terms of efficiency, converting 46.2 of his shots from the field and 40.7 percent of his 3-point shots. While he has made improvements on the offensive end of the floor, it has been his defense that has caught the attention of his teammates.

Draymond Green spoke about Wiggins' contributions on the defensive end after Monday night's win over the Timberwolves:

Despite being traded to the Warriors last season, Andrew Wiggins still has three years remaining on his current contract. But with him being 25 years old and a player who is seemingly fine-tuning his game, some may view him as a valuable trade commodity for Golden State.

With that being said, Wiggins has become a key contributor for the Warriors this season as they rely on him for production due to the absence of Klay Thompson. Even though some people question his fit on the roster, Wiggins hopes to be a member of the Warriors for the rest of his career. There is still a long way to go in that regard, but at least he is finally enjoying himself.
