On the matter of COVID-19 restrictions, the city of San Francisco requires everyone to be vaccinated for large indoor events. They will not be changing any rules for Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins. Earlier reports were saying if he got a religious or medical exemption, he might be able to play. It is now looking like that isn't possible.

The SFGATE released a statement from the San Francisco Department of Public Health saying that Wiggins would not be able to claim a religious or medical exemption as a response to the city's policy for large indoor events.

The issue will put the Warriors in a tough predicament.

If Wiggins refuses to get vaccinated soon, he will start missing home games and lose a ton of money. With training camp starting next week, it would be best for the Warriors to fix this situation quickly.

Wiggins is an essential piece to the Dubs. He will play a significant role in returning to the playoffs. If he isn't going to be available because he refuses the vaccination, the Warriors might start entertaining trade packages for him.

Allowing him only to play in away games more than likely won't benefit the team much. If he gets the vaccine, all of these issues go away, and the Warriors can get back to their hunt for another championship.

The Warriors have a lot of questions to be answered in a short time. They have to figure out what they want to do with their 15th roster spot and come up with their rotation. Then once Klay Thompson and James Wiseman return, they have to do it over again.

Figuring out what to do with Wiggins will be the most critical issue for the Warriors, and it's one they have to work on quickly.
