Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins has raved about a rare perk of having a player like Stephen Curry as a teammate.

The Warriors visited the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center for the first time this season. Contrary to what many were expecting, Andrew Wiggins witnessed some fans in attendance cheering for the Dubs.

Stating the obvious, Wiggins knew that the said fans weren't actually Warriors fans per se. Instead, they were just like any other hoops fans who are thrilled to see Stephen Curry do his thing inside the court.

“[We] Go on the road, and they’re cheering for us,” Wiggins said of Nets fans via 95.7 The Game. “I guess that’s one of the perks of having Steph [Curry] on your team.”

Indeed, Curry gave the Nets' fans reason to cheer for him. The two-time NBA scoring champ dropped a highly-efficient 37 points in just 29 minutes of basketball to lead the Warriors to a blowout 117-99 victory.

Nets superstar Kevin Durant also acknowledged the fact that it was just another day at the office for his former Warriors teammate, who has been giving it all he got every single game.

“He put in a ton of work,” Durant said of Curry after the game. “He cares about the game. He loves his teammates and plays with energy. So that’s what you get every night with a player like that playing at an MVP, Hall of Fame level. You got to respect it.”

Curry and Durant are the early MVP favorites this season and fans are surely looking forward to another duel.
