Golden State Warriors legend Chris Mullin believes the Dubs shouldn't trade small forward Andrew Wiggins this offseason.

The Warriors acquired Wiggins from the Minnesota Timberwolves at the 2020 trade deadline in the D'Angelo Russell deal. The former No. 1 overall pick is looking to turn his career around in Golden State and Mullin thinks Wiggins can achieve that goal.

“I'm not quite sure you're going to get a more talented wing than him, and he's young” Chris Mullin said on the debut episode of Dubs Talk podcast this week, via NBC Sports Bay Area.

“I got to think that Andrew Wiggins is going to be reinvigorated and energized, not only to prove people wrong, but to prove to himself and really get out there and start enjoying the game. You see that's the other thing too, I didn't see him in Minnesota really enjoying himself. You see the joy that Steph, Klay and Draymond play with and the energy and passion, I think that's a big part of it.”

Wiggins appeared in 12 games with the Warriors in 2019-20 before the season was suspended in March due to COVID-19. He averaged 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists while shooting 45.7 percent from the field, 33.9 percent from beyond the arc and 67.2 percent from the free throw line.

The Warriors, who finished with the worst record in the NBA in 2019-20, will be back in the playoffs next season with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Wiggins leading the way. The Dubs also have the second overall pick in the 2020 draft.

Since entering the NBA, Wiggins has compiled averages of 19.7 points, 4.4 boards and 2.3 assists with the Timberwolves and Warriors.
