Monday night was the last away game for the Golden State Warriors before the NBA All-Star break. Andrew Wiggins and company were upset in a blowout loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. The final score was 119-104 and the home team had their way the entire night.

“I think we're letting guys get too comfortable,” Wiggins told ClutchPoints. “I feel like we stopped being the aggressor. It's important. You want to keep guys on their toes…Once they get comfortable, it's the NBA anyone can score the ball and get going.”

Playing defense has become a thing of the past the last few games. The Warriors have allowed 110 points or more in six of the last seven games. Their season average is 103.5 and that ranks third-best in the league.

The struggles are largely due to missing their leader Draymond Green, but the Warriors have shown they can win games without the All-Star. This is more about effort and paying attention to detail.

The Dubs are taking this matter seriously, not because they are afraid of their season going down the drain, but because they have aspirations to compete for a championship.

This inconsistent play isn't going to get the job done, and they know it. So this is a problem the Warriors are addressing immediately.

Getting healthy fixes most of the Warriors' issues, but they desire to be better now. There's one more game before the break and it will be in front of their home crowd. It's a great opportunity to conclude this portion of the season on a good note.
