Andrew Wiggins played a key role in the Golden State Warriors' streak-snapping win over the Phoenix Suns on Friday night. But just days before, he wasn't at full strength due to lingering back problems.

Wiggins was vocal about how he first felt the back spasms that limited him in the Warriors' road loss in Phoenix on Tuesday night. He revealed that the pain hit him while doing the mundane task of putting on his socks.

Via Anthony Slater:

“Man, I woke up. Went to get off the bed. Put my left sock on. When I tried to put my right sock on, halfway down it just *ripping noises* froze up on me,” admitted the Warriors forward. “The training staff and the team helped me get it right.”

He finished with just 10 points on 4-for-12 shooting through 33 minutes in the loss. Compare that to his performance in the very next game – 19 points on an efficient 8-for-16 shooting clip to go along with stellar defense played against Suns star Chris Paul.

The Warriors thankfully had three days off in between games, enough time both for Andrew Wiggins to heal up and for the loss to simmer and serve as motivation for the entire team to put forth a better effort.

Hopefully Andrew Wiggins doesn't have as hard of a time putting on his socks after the well-deserved W.
