Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry made a bit of personal history on Sunday night, as the former back-to-back MVP exploded for a career-high 62 points in a win against the Portland Trail Blazers. Curry's better half, Ayesha, took to social media to congratulate her husband on his amazing feat.

Ayesha posted a video of Steph being doused with a bottle of water as part of the traditional celebratory water bath during his post-game interview. She also included an endearing message for her life partner, while expressing how proud she is of his latest achievement:

Curry ended his night with a career-best 62 points on 18-of-31 from the field and 8-of-16 from distance. He also added five boards and four assists, while also going 18-of-19 from the charity stripe. What a performance it was from the great Steph Curry.

As Ayesha implied in her post, however, it's all about the team for Curry. The six-time All-Star will undeniably look back on this evening as one of the best moments of his illustrious career, but at the end of the day, what matters more is the W.

The Dubs have had a poor start to the new season, and much of the blame has been placed on Curry and his alleged inability to carry a shorthanded Warriors side.

Steph took that slander personally, and sent out a strong message to all his haters with his eye-popping performance on Sunday, which more importantly, resulted in a victory for Golden State.
