YouTube star Jake Paul knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson in brutal fashion in their boxing match on Saturday. All the memes flooded social media in reaction Robinson sleeping soundly on the canvas. However, Ayesha Curry, wife of Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, saw inspiration in light of the three-time NBA Slam Dunk champion's efforts against Paul.

Ayesha Curry certainly makes a good point here and we have to give Robinson some props for actually pushing through with the fight. The headlines and images certainly will give a terrible look for him. Nonetheless, Robinson should see consolation in that he didn't hold back and tried something he wanted to do.

Ayesha Curry knows the 5-foot-9 Robinson came into the match without any prior boxing experience and took on a 6-foot-1 entertainer who actually already made his professional in-ring debut earlier this year. Likewise, prior to his first pro fight, Paul already fought in other exhibition bouts.

Majority of the reactions on Twitter were directed to Robinson's demise on Saturday. Even Ayesha Curry's husband, Steph Curry, took a subtle shot to Robinson in the aftermath of the vicious KO.

Nonetheless, Steph did express concern over Robinson's well-being, and like Ayesha Curry, he even applauded his fellow hooper for stepping in the ring.

Robinson hasn't given any indication whether this is a one-off thing for him. However, based on Saturday's outcome, it doesn't seem likely he will get back in the ring for second servings of the epic right hand that Jake Paul just dished out. Ayesha Curry recognizes that.

Nonetheless, at least Nate Rob won't live without the regrets of not trying. The point of concern ā€” as Ayesha Curry and everyone else is quite aware of after Saturday night's events ā€” is that Nate Robinson might have suffered beyond the realm of what is considered acceptable.
