A Bay Area radio station shows their support to the Golden State Warriors by issuing a ban on all Drake songs until the NBA Finals is over.

Drake is the Toronto Raptors' global ambassador, and he has been making headlines these playoffs for his sideline antics. Put simply, the Canadian rapper takes the lead when it comes to mocking and trolling Toronto's opponents.

The Warriors, of course, haven't escaped Drake's acts. And so Bay Area-based KBLX-FM radio station made sure to hit back for the hometown team and banned the rapper's songs from their playlist.

Per the station’s operations and programs director Elroy Smith (via Gary Peterson of The Mercury News): “(We) could not stand on the sidelines and accept Drake showing no love for our Golden State Warriors. It is my joy to cease and desist all of Drake’s music on KBLX in support a team that is loved by the Bay Area and around the world.”

“Oh yes, we are proclaiming a 3-peat.”

This isn't the first time that a radio station banned Drake's songs because of the NBA playoffs. Previously, a Milwaukee radio station also did the same thing during the Milwaukee Bucks' Eastern Conference Finals series against the Raptors.

Sure enough, it may not be a big thing, but hey, at least the Warriors won't be hearing Drake when they are resting at home!
