Ben Simmons has reportedly let the Philadelphia 76ers know that he has no interest in playing for the team next season, putting more pressure on the Sixers to find a suitable trade where they can still get significant returns. With the trade talks in full throttle, betting platforms have revealed the odds on the teams with the best chance to get the Australian playmaker, including the Golden State Warriors.

BetMGM has the Warriors as the favorites to get Ben Simmons if the Sixers trade him, while BetOnline.ag put the Dubs just at sixth. PointsBet, meanwhile, gave Golden State the third-best odds to be the next team of former no. 1 pickā€“behind the Sacramento Kings and Portland Trail Blazers.

While there hasn't been much progress for the Sixers in their attempts to move Ben Simmons, the link with the Warriors isn't surprising. After all, the Dubs have expressed interest in the 25-year-old in recent weeks, with Philly's asking price the only hindrance for both parties to take the next step.

It is also worth noting that Simmons is reportedly open to going to Golden State and pair up with two of the greatest shooters of all time in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

With Simmons officially declaring his desire to leave the City of Brotherly Love, the Warriors may have a renewed chance to trade for the 2021 Defensive Player of the Year finalist. The Sixers still have the leverage, but they might have to lower their asking price just to finish the drama and make the most of Simmons' value that has dwindled since the playoffs.

Of course it is unknown if Golden State still has any interest in Simmons, but if they do, they can certainly offer a solid package to the Sixers.
