Klay Thompson's boat chronicles have been one of the most entertaining parts of the Golden State Warriors offseason. But apparently not all was well with his maritime adventures.

Associate head coach Mike Brown revealed that Klay Thompson was breaking the law as he traversed the waters with his boat. The Warriors star was actually parking his boat “illegally” up until Brown hooked him up with a legitimate parking spot.

“I had to try to do that because he was doing it illegally,” said the Warriors coach. “I don't even know what else to say on it. He was parking his boat anywhere. I'm like, ‘dude, you can't just pull up and park your boat anywhere.' And he was like, ‘what are you talking about?'”

“And I'm like, ‘Klay, people pay for these spots and slips and all this other stuff.' Long story short, he started parking his boat over at the ramp and I know the people over there at the ramp. Now that's his spot. He just pulls his boat up, parks there, walks across the street, and goes to work,” Brown said of the Warriors star.

Klay Thompson continues to do Klay Thompson things. Given the fact that the Warriors sharpshooter is basically royalty in the San Francisco area, it's easy to understand how he got away with it in the first place. But now he's going to have to do his boat business like the rest of us. Sorry, Klay.
