ESPN insider Brian Windhorst says the Golden State Warriors have “dedicated a lot of time” over the last year or so to figure out why Kevin Durant isn't happy in Golden State.

Durant becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer once he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Warriors. KD has won two straight titles and Finals MVPs since joining the Dubs back in the summer of 2016.

However, there are always rumors going around that Durant isn't happy and will leave the Warriors this summer in free agency.

“This is a question that the Warriors have developed and dedicated a lot of time to over the last year,” Windhorst said on ESPN's First Take. “And what the Clippers are studying right now and the Lakers are studying and the Knicks are studying because when they talk to him, they want to be able to communicate with him.

“It's been mystifying to them that the Warriors have given him everything he wanted and he hasn't had that happiness.”

Some believe Durant is tired of playing in the shadow of Stephen Curry. Although KD is the best player on the Warriors, the team will always be Curry's and the two-time MVP will inevitably be more popular with the fans than Durant.

All eyes are going to be on KD this summer. It's going to be fascinating to see what decision he makes.
