The incident that happened in the L.A.Clippers’ locker room on Monday night has been one of the most talked topics in the basketball world lately. Following the heated game between the Clippers and Houston Rockets, it was reported that Trevor Ariza tried to confront Austin Rivers there but was asked to leave immediately by the coaching staff and security personnel. It has not left a good impression to a lot of fans and even players around the league, who have chimed in and gave their opinion on it.

For Phoenix Suns swingman Jared Dudley, it made him remember the situation Stephen Curry was involved in back in 2014. He witnessed the former back-to-back MVP having an exchange with some ball boys after the game where the Golden State Warriors were eliminated by the Clippers in Game 7. Apparently, cops were even called to help pacify the situation and prevent Curry and his former teammate, Steve Blake, from making the situation worse.

The Clippers have not had much success in the playoffs the past few years and have not gone past the second round, but their first round series win over the Dubs in 2014 is one of the most memorable ones they’ve had in franchise history. However, it could have been the reason as well why Curry and company were motivated to become even better as they won two championships in the past three years.

Staples Center has indeed become the venue for some of the more unforgettable altercations in recent memory. If there’s any good news though, all of them did not turn to out to be full-blown fights as cooler heads prevailed in both instances.
