DeMarcus Cousins' debut for the Golden State Warriors lasted only 15 minutes after fouling out in their 112-94 win against the L.A. Clippers at the Staples Center on Friday.

Cousins, who is coming off a one-year layoff due to a torn left Achilles, fouled out in the fourth quarter of his season debut. According to ESPN, it was the fastest foul out of his career. It was also the 50th time the superstar center fouled out since he entered the league in the 2010-11 NBA season.

But despite fouling out, DeMarcus Cousins made his presence felt when he was on the court. The 28-year-old center started for the Warriors and scored his team's first basket with a thunderous dunk off a pass from Kevin Durant during a pick-and-roll play. The four-time NBA All-Star also knocked down his first three-point attempt as a Warrior.

In his first game since sustaining a season-ending injury on January 27 last year, the former New Orleans Pelicans center finished with 14 points on top of six rebounds and three assists. He went 5-for-11 from the field, including an impressive 3-for-4 clip from beyond the arc.

Stephen Curry was also in rhythm for Golden State, as the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player finished with 28 points to go along with five rebounds and four assists. Durant ended up with 24 points, while Klay Thompson finished with 12 markers. Draymond Green scored just seven points but tallied nine assists, eight boards, two steals, and a block.

With the win, the Warriors solidified their grip on the top spot in the Western Conference standings with their 32-14 record. They have now won in nine of their last 10 games, including their last seven after a rough start this season.
