Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins keeps it real and delivers a blunt message to all the critics questioning Kevin Durant's heart: “F**k them. F**k them.”

Durant, who missed nine straight games in the playoffs due to a calf strain, returned in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. However, his return took an unfortunate turn after he sustained an Achilles injury in the second quarter of the contest. He left Scotiabank Arena with crutches and while wearing a walking boot.

Durant was clearly not yet at 100 percent when he returned. Nonetheless, with the series on the line, he tried his best to get back on the court as soon as possible to help his teammates.

Many people questioned why Durant is holding back in playing for the Warriors after one month of absence, but it's now clear that his injury is serious. He played with the risk of re-injuring his leg, but he didn't mind it and even sacrificed his body for the Dubs.

The two-time Finals MVP is now likely out of the series with the injury, and the Warriors could only hope that the Achilles injury is only a partial tear and not a full-blown one.

Cousins is right though: no one can question Durant's heart now. And if they do, the All-Star center has the perfect response.
