Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer, but Boogie doesn't care about that right now and is focused on winning a championship with the Dubs.

Cousins told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports he doesn't ā€œgive a shitā€ about free agency right now.

DeMarcus Cousins signed a one-year, $5.34 million deal with the Warriors last summer. He will likely get a pay raise in the offseason assuming he stays healthy and plays well for the Warriors in the playoffs.

In 23 games this season for the Dubs, Boogie is averaging 15.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists per contest. The four-time All-Star is shooting 48.5 percent from the field, 25.4 percent from beyond the arc and 75.9 percent from the free-throw line.

The Dubs are 17-6 with Cousins in the lineup. DeMarcus has seven double-doubles on the season and scored over 20 points five times.

Cousins will play in the postseason this year for the first time in his career. Barring something unforeseen happening, the Warriors are likely going to win their third-straight title and fourth in five years.

Boogie will likely play his way out of Golden State's budget. Head coach Steve Kerr said earlier in the season the team wants to help Cousins get a lucrative contract somewhere.
