Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins was ejected after being tagged with a Flagrant 2 foul in their game against the Charlotte Hornets. After the game, Cousins vented out his feelings on the call.

Per Marc J. Spears of ESPN, Cousins implied that the reason the foul was tagged as Flagrant 2 resulting to his ejection was because it was him who committed it.

The said play occurred in the second quarter of the Warriors' 137-90 win over the Hornets. In the play, DeMarcus Cousins was vying for position on Willy Hernangomez for the rebound. Cousins' right arm made contact with Hernangomez's head.

In just 11 minutes of play, Cousins logged in eight points, three rebounds and two assists. His ejection is his second for the season — the first as an active player. While recovering from an injury, he was tossed from the bench on Oct. 26 by referee Scott Foster during their game with the New York Knicks.

Cousins has built a reputation around the league as a hot-headed player. For Cousins, this tendency has turned into unfair treatment from the officials who quickly point the finger at him instead of looking at the situation with an objective eye.
