Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins is still recovering from his Achilles injury and hasn't played this season.

The All-Star center still made his presence felt Friday night at Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks.

DeMarcus Cousins was ejected from the game by referee Scott Foster. Cousins was apparently talking too much smack from the bench.

Cousins was ejected with 2:28 left in the first quarter. It's not clear what player Boogie was arguing. Cousins was cleared this week to participate in team non-contact drills.

DeMarcus Cousins signed a one-year, $5.3 million deal with Golden State. Before getting injured last season, Cousins was averaging 25.2 points and 12.9 rebounds in 48 games while shooting 47.0 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from beyond the arc with the Pelicans.

This is peak DeMarcus Cousins. To get ejected without even playing is something right up the alley of Cousins.

The Warriors are unsure when Cousins will be able to play in 2018-19. Cousins said at summer league and media day he’s going to take his time and not rush back since Golden State doesn’t need his services to start the year. However, Cousins didn't waste any time to get his first ejection as a member of the Warriors.
